Next time I won't be interviewing and I'll be able to go. I don't have plans to be a pit man in the A :tire:, but if it turns out that way, I got you.

Well, finally completed my car today. :D
And when I came to balancing/tweaking I was quite surprised.
First it didn't needed any additional weights to balance the car, so no additional weight needed outside of the cars centreline.
All of the 204 grams of ballast is underneath the fueltank.

But when I came to do the cornerweights I was really surprised.
Just set the ride height and trackwidth and this is what the scales red:

I was completely amazed. :D:lol:

No excuses anymore if I don't make the top three in my national championship this year. :tire:

I think there are several people that we might have to build bunk beds for at 301!

sometimes I really hate you lol. Now disconnect the rear swaybar :p see if you have the same luck... then reconnect the front and rear...

Awesome man. Quick question, why you using the INS box? Is it required in your track?

Life Batt max size

Quick question,
what are the maximum dimension for a battery pack in the NT1.

Thanks

DS Motorsport 02-26-2010 08:30 AM

Haha :D
As you can see in the pictures both of the ARB's are disconnected. With the rear one on the readings don't change.
Connecting the front one, and getting the same readings again is a pain.
Probably one of the blades is bent again.
This is my fourth or fifth set in a year of the 0.7 Fr ARB.
Xray pleeeaase put a wire type ARB in the front, the blade type sucks.

I think I'm going to spend some time this weekend trying to find out how hard it would be to put the Serpent 733 front wishbones and front ARB on to the NT1.

It has been mandatory for two years already in my country. This year it is required for all the european events if I'm not mistaken.

Btw, I hope to finish the files on the carbon brackets this weekend, have been very busy this week with work and school.

A standard Nimh pack just fits, I've measured mine and it has the following dimensions:

L84xW31xH17

You could go a bit wider, to 32-33, but then you have to take some material away from the chassis.

olhipster1 02-26-2010 10:13 AM

thank you

Thanks
DS

Time to order the batts ...and all the other goodies..
