Initially the nt1 may seem expensive to some compared to other kits but you will save all that money on spare parts, they don't break:nod:

I bought all these spare parts months ago and have not used one...............yet

probably amounts to roughly the same as any other kit to be honest. if you are doing high end racing you will probably change the clutch shoe every 3 months, and if you run the alluminium shoe you might change this every so often also (when rocks get stuck in the yellow shoe they will scratch the bell and wear away the hard coating.

you might also change the baulkheads and arms once a year or before a big event also.

the outdrives and cvd's are quite strong. the only wear you will notice is in the cvd pin (small amount) and the internal pin in the cvd.

i change belts every year, or before a big meet.

It is really beautyful. They said that it will be EFRA homologated for 2010. We will see...

it doesnt have to be a 4 door sedan to be a leagal touring body. Blitz Altis 2.3 is a 2 door coupe but efra/ifmar legal (2008 world champion).

How do you guys set your rebound in the plastic shocks without getting air in them. When i follow the manual after pushing/pulling the shaft say 15 times for 50% rebound after doing so you can easily hear air in them. There is also a spot where the piston pushes in/out very easily, i think there is not enough oil in the shock body but this is the only way i can get the desired rebound. If i don't do it the way i said the shaft rebounds to far and to much.

Can someone please help me, i hate not doing things right:blush:

Thanks mate that was very helpful. I think the trick is having the shock upside down when taking the lower cap off and just letting it seep out on it's own instead of ramming air into it when you push the shaft in and out.

Would of been nice to have put this in the instructions/set-up book!!!!

xray shocks are one of the mroe difficult shocks to build for some reason. Mugen and tamiya are the easier ones. Not really sure why:confused:
