two speed
 
Two speed question - I just put the "hard springs" PN 33 5582 in and I need some suggestions on the bench set-up if the shift point screws.

Any help appreciated.

Ha.Ha..... Funny thing is I havn't had an engine touched in over 2 years......but maybe now is the time. Am I going to have to bring that engine I had in my car that you ran, the 7 port? :sneaky:

when rebuilding my 2 speed clutch I normally put it all together screw it all up tight then back it off, both halves should be together, then the amount of preload on the shift springs is enough to just spread the shoes apart by your fingers, now install the shoes in the housing and play with the spread screws until it just dosent fit in the housing now back it off until it fits in and spins freely , this is the base setting at the track just adjust your shift screws to where on the track you want to change to 2nd, over time adjust your spread screws to compensate for wear.:nod: be paitient with it it may take a few adjustments at the track to hit 2nd.

You make me laugh..... I don't even have a modified engine right now. I'll even let you look at them. You must have got that worlds engine from Kenny.
