Jaco Prism Wheels

The Jaco Prism wheels have a smaller inner dimension than the outside....so when you cut camber in your tires your suppose to have the same amount of rubber on the wheel all the way across.

It does indeed remove the manufacturing stresses in the parts and makes the parts stronger and more durable aswell as smoother fitting.

If you have any doubts about parts, like belts etc. Leave them off.
Also. Build the car with NO coatings...... no grease or oils and when completely cooled. Dissmantle the car and apply your coatings and parts you left off.
It's a good idea also to keep the parts in the exact places they came from. The plastic will have "molded" for want of a better term into and onto the positions you had them in when you placed the car into the oven.

Hope this helps.

I thought I read somewhere, possibly Xrays site, that Hudy makes several different molds for each piece using the cool down method to allow for moulded parts to size up....which is why the car goes together so well....

I can understand that method on cars that need to be fitted, but on an xray that goes together so well?....

And let me ask another question....suppose you build your car with a tweak?....I don't think I would want the car relaxed around a stress point.......

lets face it, if the car is built right, and goes together right, and everything works freely, why upset the apple cart?..

How much steering throw are you guys running?.

Right now i'm running 20 degrees on both sides.
The epa on my transmitter is around 95, i have a m11.
I would like to know some other figures and why you're running it.

i'm not a nt1 owner but i'm thinking in getting one and also i'm thinking of getting some hopups like, rear antiroll bar, one piece engine mount and some light weight parts but bwhat do you think about the 3racing hopups since they are way much cheeper than the xray's, what i want to know is about quality of the pieces, the materials, and functionallity. this car seams to be a great one, i would appreciate your help

also does the one piece engine mount worth the money spent on it?

I think it's too heavy.

I told him to stay close to the setup I sent off to you and to try a few things to help him in the corner entry. I think the best thing for him to do is to go to the spool with the setup you are running.

the 220mm car........I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The car is SO DARN FAST in the corners:D "we" made a lot of setup chages and it is more setup now for my driving style, but I've not settled on a "final" setup yet. I still need to make a couple parts before I can give you good advice on this, but I am sure that you will not have any problems. It works good with the setup you have now.
