It depends how your engine runs in a bigger track. if you see its too much time in high rpm without a good speed, so you should modifiy the gears (make it longer). You will understand when you hit the top rpm of your engine, and it has more 10m to go, and I won't hit more speed
Download set-up sheets in Kyosho site, get the ones from top drivers.. take a look in which track they are running with which gears

I would recommend the following:
1. Universals (front and rear)
2. SP belts (front, side, rear)
3. Steel Pinions
4. Aluminum middle bearing block (kawahara, k-factory or Kyosho)
5. Hard brake pads (kawahara, k-factory or kyosho)
6. Rear graphite shock tower
7. Aluminum side stiffener
8. One piece engine mount
9. Aluminum brake bracket
10. Front graphite shock tower
11. Titanium screws, turnbuckles, shaft, etc
12. Aluminum brake lever

if you are on a tight budget, you dont need universals. Useful upgrades, i think would be steel pinion gears and Alum side stiffener. I run the my car with only these no universals almost plainly stock and I never had problems at all. I am very happy with the performance. but if you have money, what the heck, get them all...

Hey guys Im new here. If I were to get a regular v1rrr is the car still as good as the v1rrrwc and evo editions? Does kyosho have any plans of releasing a new model anytime soon to replace the v1rrr series? How is a jp .12fx engine sound to go with it?

if you don't want any problems with your rrr and want easy maintenance then get the rrrEVO! It's worth the extra penny
