Hello,

The new spur gear is being tested at this time, we are trying to make sure it won't have any issues once released. This means we must put hours upon hours on every spur gear we are testing. I am sorry it's taking a little more time than we anticipated, but I assure you it will be the end all fix for the spur gear issues once released. We are very close to production with the new gear and it should only be weeks away at that point.

Thanks for your patience everyone.

Default Pre-Filter

When installing the pre-filter, should I remove the plastic outside cover with the two screws? I haven't and it seems after a couple of removes/installs, the pre-filter doesn't fit snuggly anymore.

Default Receiver Lipo Charging

Do anybody charge their receiver lipos while it is still in the car between heats? I guess it isn't really needed, but I would like to do this to make sure the battery is topped off for the main. I have an electronic switch so it doesn't have a charging plug. It would be nice to top the battery off without removing it. I'm just curious as to what others people are doing in this situation.

I to never charge a lipo in my car. It only takes a minute to get it out, but would cost a fortune to repair the car if it were to catch fire. Not worth the risk.

I am probably overly careful with how I treat lipos but again, the risk of what could happen is to great.

As far as charging between heats and the main I don't bother. Where I race we run two 7 minute heats and a 15 minute main. Add all that up and we're only talking about 35-40 minutes of run time max if I don't get in a practice in beforehand. These lipos are capable of hour long mains so two heats and a short main are no problem.

Really you just have to keep track of how much run time you've put on it during the day.

Super easy fix. Protek makes a 2s lead that will charge a pack through the balance port. Snag that up and cut a groove in the tray to hang the balance port out and boom, done.

Anybody experience the same thing? Just wondering if I should be doing something differently here.

I don't remove the side for installing the prefilter. I know what your saying, mine still seems pretty snug. I don't think its a issue.
