Finished the build yesterday.... Man that was easy and refreshing.
1. Thanks for the greatest radiobox in the history of 1/8th buggy. no spacers, no servo mounts to lose. room for everything and its built into the side pod... ABSOLUTELY GENIUS.
2. No parts to lose, whats needed for each step is in its own bag.
3. Simple linkage, I thought it was gonna be complicated. But nope. Easier than the standard linkage use by most other buggies.
4. Steering throw washers. Like the idea....
5. Front/Rear mount engine... seems like having the choice of 2 different cars. More testing to determine if there is a big difference between front/rear engine... Should be!!!
6. So easy to build shocks with little to no rebound....
oh and the servo saver arm that holds the locknut for the steering servo tie rod.... almost forgot that small genius detail!!!!!
I could go on and on. Its like a racer designed this buggy after building other kits and was left scratching his head... "When I make a buggy, I'm going to do this and this and that"
Hopefully it wheels as good as it builds/looks. Good Job Tekno and i've built/wheeled them all!

I couldn't agree more with all this feedback, I can have the radio tray out of my GT car I build from a NB48! Now I need a NB48 for the dirt.
Suggestion, not saying its needed but a aluminum throttle-brake servo horn would be nice for piece of mind.

First Race yesterday with the buggy.
First thing I noticed was how settled the car was. I was immediately on pace with my D812 that I had put 2 months into the setup. Only thing I changed from stock setup was I swapped the swaybars front-rear and added another .5 degree of camber. Regional Manager Mark Unrath was a big help. MY CAR WAS SUPERB! Traction/steering/precision/flat cornering/level jumping. This buggy had it all. I felt like I could put the car anywhere I needed to on the track.
I dont have the I won first time out success story. But I know that this car is initially faster for me. I cant wait to get back to the track to run it more. To say that I am VERY IMPRESSED is an understatement.

So, another one "First race success story"
We had 1st rd of regional champ on last sunday, and it was my first race not only in race terms, it was my first time on track with NB48 at all. Track was huge and very harsh: stones with a bit of dirt and wooden borders. But buggy has shown very stable driving, actually it drives itself very well, you just need to hold RX with coolface =) Took TQ, but finished race on 2nd place due to stucked clunk in top position on last lap of first final race (we have very weird system of three finals) and mass false start in 3rd final rd, so was able to get most points only in 2nd rd. 1st place gone to man who took 2nd place in on of the nats rd. Dissapointed a bit (mostly because of bs in 3rd rd), but new tank is on the way, and i'm completely noob in nitro at all (but with good reflexes and focus), so i have many things to work with. Setup was stock from e-manual, only swapped swaybars and made 123mm rear droop.
upd: just a random pic for sunday:
