Is Revelation open tomorrow? If so what are the hours?

Yes, they're open. They didnt mention special hours when I asked so I'm assuming the same as what is on the website. I'll be heading down with another buddy (around 10 I imagine) to try a couple more things out.

Just want to put this out there to see if anyone has any ideas. I have been consulting with a fellow tekno driver. My car suffers from severe snap oversteer on and off power. I have tried many alterations, but nothing cures the problem, not even the lrc brace. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Can you elaborate, what is "snap" over steer? Are you running the steering stops, if so how many washers? What's your Ackerman position? Have you adjusted your radio at all?

Two questions:

1.What diff oils are you running and also when is the last time you changed it?

2. What caster blocks are you running?

I would not expect the LRC brace to play too huge of a factor in how smooth the steering is. The biggest factor in how fast the steering throws the car around is usually caster and diff oils...

Snap oversteer- where the rear breaks loose unexpectedly usually resulting in a spin. I am running 26deg total castor, Ackerman is in the middle hole, i run 4 washers on the steering stops, and my diff oils are at 7/7/3 my radio is all set at zero.

I'm now running 94% D/R with Ackerman/stop washers like yours, calmed down rear a lot.

Oh my steering rate is at about 85%

My brother had this problem a while ago. Turns out he must have had a bad crash that cracked the rear diff case where you couldn't see it. He had to remove the rear case off the car and flip it over. I drove it and it was terrible, you could hardly make a lap without it just looping out on the rear end. Swapped out the diff case and bam, like a different car.

Go through your diffs and make sure the shims have not deformed.

i know we replaced oils but yes check those washers and we have the black upgraded ones in stock if you need them mate :nod: :nod: :nod:

Not to state the obvious but are the tires well suited to the track? Running Mo's setup, I can take the buggy from a hard right hand to a hard left hand turn with no issues on or off power, it's ridiculous how well the buggy hooks up with that setup. If that doesnt work, something has to be failing mechanically.

How was Rev?

So, here is another one sort of bug report.
Issue: new (revised) tank can be cracked causing pressure problems and therefore tuning issues. Crack is so small and located in unobvious place making pressure test close to impossible.
How to repeat: side impact slightly above pipe line where most stress is taken by the outer rear fuel line clip.
Result: screw holding clip causes crack of the tank body starting from the screw' hole.
Major issue is about unstable nature of this damage: with body off and clip aligned well there is vrtually no pressure leak. With body on it applies some force to the clip, and not so soft landings temporary increases this force. While buggy is being upside down force is high enought to remove all pressure from the system and cause flameout.
But when you take tank off and decide to make leak test, you remove clips and screws also. or at least don't apply force to that rear outer clip, therefore silly drivers with weak lungs don't have a chance to detect this leak.
Workaround: mount this clip facing rear left wheel or/and apply some material betwwen tank sidewall and clip.
