Struggling with off-power understeering/pushing. The tracks here are generally very loose and bumpy. Been trying various setups but can't seem to find one that suits my driving style. Anyone have pointers to try first?

@Hars

Try 5-5-2 .... 500fr with 1,6X9.0 springs... 425re with 1,6x10.75 springs...pistons 1,2x8...
works perfekt on very loose tracks in germany!

I you still don't have enough with Michael's tips, try going down on the shocktowers front and try. Car will have more and more aggressive steering in low grip conditions.

As stated above aswell, 4g difference. Stock ones are about 8g a piece and heavy ones are about 12g a piece.

Most driver seem to go lighter in sway bars , I'm using a 2.2 front 2.6 rear and the car has good turn in with 773 , also try less castor (pushing top arm forward one clip).

Maybe tell us more , are you braking into turns where it pushing or is the car coasting in off throttle.

I´m pretty sure that this has been discussed before, but i´m so lazy to look for it, so, are the lower arms from the 6 compatibles?

Try moving the front lower arms back, and the upper fronts forward.

Just follow the book and you will be fine. I used the lower hole in the hub until the car broke in then I went to the upper hole. It will seem a little loose at first, but after about 4 race days it should break in and be locked in.

I noticed that battle turns his ackerman around, does everyone do this? And when i was building the front drive shafts, there wasnt any grub screws that lock the pin into the universal. I know the pin wont come out because the bearing pretty much keeps it in place but i would think the added security of a grub screw would be beneficial.

they eliminated the grub screw, it can bind up.
bearing holds it just fine

If the pin comes out, you've got more problems than just that. As far as the ackerman plate, it really depends on driving style and track, as flipping it around will tone down the steering.
