3.16.13
40 AE front

35 AE rear

It was colder 3.16.13 than it is now!

This past weekend. I went up to 45 front 40 rear b.c it was over 70 deg.

When I go to Texas next week I start with 45f 40 r. Next week it will be 88 or so. if it's hotter I will change to what will work for the track.

Hope this helps.

Good luck and give the buggy a Gal or so to break in Plastic wise..

I´m finishing to build mine, but I´ve got a big (looking to my 6R) gap between the rear hubs and arms. Are you guys using some kind of shims or anything?

There are 6 shims that come on a parts tree. 3 for each side. I belive they were in the same bag as the rear hubs.

Sorry, I don´t talk about this to be clear, I´ve a big gap even with the spacers, that I´ve mounted like manual sad.
It remember me my 2 year old 8ight, with "mechanical exponencial"!
Now being serious, I don´t think this is normal, even the shaft is too big.

Upload a picture of it. 3 spacers of different widths go on the pin that holds the hub on.

that is correct. Mine is pretty tight with the spacers. If there is a lot of room something must be wrong.

Default M2C RACING MBX7 EXTENDED TOP RAILS FOR BUKU CLUTCH

Quite a few guys have contacted me about making a motor mount that would
accept other manufactors clutch systems to run with my 3 pc. motor mount.
I have made a set of top rails that will fit all of our existing mbx7 mounts that have already been purchased.
these top rails will move the motor back 1 mm in order for the flywheels to clear
the brake disc. I cannot verify that it will work with anything but the buku clutch
system at this time.
these rails will be sold seperately and will not be offered in a kit form.

The shaft is longer to stop it being done up too tight.

thats normal. The shaft is designed for the nut to bottom out and not pinch the arm so the hub binds on the spacers.

how tight are you guys screwing in the adjustment nuts for the pillow balls. should there be any back and forth play with the hub carrier

also are you guys cutting the spring on the throttle linkage. with my os installed the ball cup is to far forward.

Shock question. I have the 6R and I'm sure most of you moved up. My question is with the shocks. I can't seem to get anything more then maybe 1/4 rebound. I'm building them as I always have (but with my first mugan) and can't seem to get more. Is there a simple issue? The only thing I can think of is a air leak. But it's with all 4. And a fresh rebuild kit to boot.
