LOL i sign up and really do intend to go but then relatives come in town or grandparents choke on ketchup or something stupid this one of the few times when i can actually go but choose not to. the problem with switching companies this close to a big race is just getting runtime on the car....

Eh, it's just a big club race, no big deal really. Probably one of the best races to just run to see where you car is at compared to others.

Oh ya, forgot, one of the other things that is better about moving the tower back is the rear droop screws wont be directly under the links. :-) I hate that.

Ya thats what ive heard. not really worth it for me since i only have my car around 85% where i want it to be, and im gonna need all day practicing and racing at DB to get a good setup.

I almost bought that and the aluminum mounts. But I have the stock kit pretty dialed, more brakes than you will ever need and then some.

Would you consider it much better than the stockers though?

It seems like the braking on this buggy is already on par with all the otehrs, im not sure how much it would be needed

I never ran the stock pads as all the sponsored guys I talked to in my area either ran the pro kit or they used losi brake disc instead of the Serpent ones so that is what I went with. I have 2 buggies and one has the losi disc and one has the pro kit and they both brake equally well so for $52 for the pro kit save your money they are not needed.

I'm able to adjust the pro brakes better it has a linear feel and it stops on a dime. They stay consistent no fading plus it's bling. . . The only thing is the inner pads wear quickly so I swap them around from inner to outter. You will need to adjust your setting thou.

IMO the pro brakes are a no brainer.. super easy to set up and super consistent... and on top of all the performance benefits the look AWSOME!!

Pro brakes are the only way to go especially on the buggy. Gets rid of that strange on off switch feeling with the stock brakes. I found the stock brakes make it very hard to brake hard into a corner consistently either you get lock up or to light.

The pro brakes have a wider window between light braking and full lock up compared to the stockers.

I also run the losi brakes. They are much better then the stock ones. Never tried pro, but for the money the losi ones are great. I get the linear feel by putting 95-99% (-) Negative exponential. So when I apply the breaks ~1/2 way I get a nice smooth stop that is not grabby, then at 100% I can almost lockup. Really helps with corner speed to not lock up your brakes unless you are trying to whip the rear end around which is normally slower anyways.
