My jammin truggy came with the new shocks, they're very good. No loss of travel and very smooth.
They work by usng a rubber boot with a piece of felt inside, the felt and the boot actually rub the dirt off the shaft before it enters the shock. This is in addition to the regular seals on the jammin buggy shocks.

The Ofna 9.5/Kyosho 7.5 bodies fit the X1 not bad, much better than the Hyper 7 bodies at least.
Speedy- I think the new ones should come with the dual composite disk brakes, not sure what else has changed at all. There have been a few improvements in some parts over the very first kits since some of the parts were weak (like the kingpin T bolts).

instead of broke, the plastic rear hub also got slop on bearing place, not very tight holding the bearing.. the rear wheel get very sluggish.
so alluminium rear hub is the best conclusion
