My jammin truggy came with the new shocks, they're very good. No loss of travel and very smooth.

They work by usng a rubber boot with a piece of felt inside, the felt and the boot actually rub the dirt off the shaft before it enters the shock. This is in addition to the regular seals on the jammin buggy shocks.

The Ofna 9.5/Kyosho 7.5 bodies fit the X1 not bad, much better than the Hyper 7 bodies at least.

Speedy- I think the new ones should come with the dual composite disk brakes, not sure what else has changed at all. There have been a few improvements in some parts over the very first kits since some of the parts were weak (like the kingpin T bolts).

the 9.5 shock boots are the ones used on the kit. i got spares of the boots and they match the stockers exactly.

Same goes for the Ofna Ultra LX Comp shock boots, I had a couple left over from that kit and they're the same as the Jammin ones.

Yeah I was hoping for an aluminum rear hub as well. I broke one right in the middle of a qualifier, it sucked!

Personally I haven't broken anything, but I think I'll invest in an aluminum upper b block and aluminum rear hubs for next year.

Anyone know where we can get those aluminum rear hubs? R/C Mart in HK doesn't carry them.

instead of broke, the plastic rear hub also got slop on bearing place, not very tight holding the bearing.. the rear wheel get very sluggish.

so alluminium rear hub is the best conclusion
