Jammin X1 - so close yet so far

Hey guys, has anyone heard of a "Prospec" (sorry to use a Mugen term) version of the X1-CR Pro? I sold my Jammin buggy when i bought the truggy a couple of months ago in favor of running my mugen and have been kicking myself since then. I would like to buy another kit soon, but have just taken it in the shorts by XRAY when my 1 week old touring car is now obsoleted by the latest and greatest and don't want to repeat that mistake. Any news? thanks.

shock length
hello, I am palying around with my shock setups, i have decided on using Jay Hasley's setup as starting point. on the setup sheet it shows the shock length is 102mm ( center to center ) what does it exactly measure from ? it is rather ambiguous to me. Also as for the Rear hub/wheel base it shows back, what does it mean ? does it mean move the spacers all toward back or moves rear hub towards the back ? any informaiton is highly appreciated!

102mm is probably the length of the shock from the center of the top shock bolt to the center of the bottom shock bolt. 102mm for the front shocks is the length I run mine at as well.
Hubs back means that the spacers go in front and the hubs are slid all the way back. This will give you more stability in a straight line and more weight over the front tires.

Thanks for the clarification, i will give it a try. my experience with 1/8 buggy has only been with kyosho and mugen, their shocks can be adjusted by simply inserting the spacers on the shock bodies. can someone give me a good starting point on shock preloads in mm . I have been using a 2mm spacers and 4 mm spacers on my k car and it works great, need to know about jammin. Also, as for the ride height, what does it mean by " arm level " and " bone level " thanks !

Ride height by measuring pre-load spacers (or shock collar adjustment) is relative because of differences in springs, etc.
When someone says "bones level", you drop the car on a flat surface from 8-12 inches and work the suspension back and forth to settle it down to normal position, and eyeball the orientation of the dogbones in relation to the ground. Same goes for arms.
I usually change the fluid in my diffs before every big race just so everything starts fresh and it's the same from race to race. I don't club race with my Jammin' buggy as often as I do my gas truck so it tends to stay "alright" for a while, but it's just something I like to do to make sure everything is in working order.

I see, so what would you suggest the preload in mm to start with ? i will be running with stock blue springs around all corners. And also isn't " bone level" same as the " arm leve " ? since they are parallel to each other ?! this is the part i dont understand. thanks for the help

Tag- There is no way to tell exactally how much preload to start with, your just going to have to play with it until its set right. Although on my buggy I run no preload in the front (or very little) and about a centimeter of preload in the back. Of course depending on the engine/pipe/electronics setup your using the will be different. The dogbone shafts are not parallel with the suspension arms. I run the rear arms level with the ground and just set the fron ride height to be the same height as the rear.
