Hey guys does anybody know a good site to buy the captured hinge pins? This weekend was the first time i had one pop off so its time to upgrade.

Well I finally ordered my Christmas present!!! My X1 is on the way!! I will be picking it up on the 10th of December!! and I can't wait....
Here's what all I'll be getting:
Jammin X1 CR pro
Ofna Picco O-1 engine (2.7hp and 43,000 RPM)
Jammin' JP-2 header and pipe
Alumin upper and lower B blocks
Mugen 1.1 clutch springs
JR 9000S servo for steering (.06 @ 128 in. oz.)
JR 650 for throttle/brake (.17 @ 142 in. oz.)
JR RS310 reciever for my SX3 pro radio
Panther wheels, medium-soft molded inserts, and medium komodo dragon tires
Integy 1/8th scale bump box
1200 mah reciever pack
AM I forgetting anything????
Also has anyone ever tried the Panther med-soft (green) molded inserts in the stock Jammin' Rippers?? If so how well did it work compaired to the stock foams??

You'll need a battery for the starter box of course. I would recommend picking up a 7Ah Gel cell, they last forever and put out tons of power, plus they weigh at least 3 tons. As for the inserts, I can tell you that the molded foams can only be an improvement over the stock foams, which are total crap. So I would highly recommend the molded ones. I haven't tried them myself yet, but they look good and the feel like they are the right softness.

As Far as the steering servo goes how much torque do you think I should have, cause nobody really makes a servo as fast with more torque.... well at least JR and that's all I wanna use anymore cause I have never had a JR servo fail on me..... Maybe should I get a JR9000T it's only .15 sec. but has 282 in.oz. of torque!!!!
Also which other bodies fit the X1. cause I really wanna pick one up to paint it this weekend.....

Pick a servo with a balance between power and torque cause a fast servo with little torque won't be able to turn your tires. You want a servo with at least 160oz of torque.
I'm using the new Hitec Titanium gear servos and haven't had a problem yet (bought them back in June).

I won't deal with Hitec, they are junk in my opinion, I am glad to see others having good luck with them, but I have been burned too many times....
A freind of mine had an 8800S (.08@105) and had no problems turning the wheels on his T-Maxx... I really don't see much problems with the 9000S in a buggy???I mean it has over 300 in. oz. of holding power..... And companies are putting servos that have half the power in rtr buggies and calling them "high torque".....

impact throw away the stock foams don't even think about using them. i ran them in my jammin tires anfter 2 practice runs 1 6min. heat and 1 18min. main. my jammin tires still look brand new minus the dirt. but the foam has all but disentegrated in the front tires and completely disentigrated in the rear tires. so now i have a usless set of perfectly new looking tires. and the jamin tires did work great when they had foam in them. at the end of the main the back of my car kept sliding and i couldn't figure out why unitl i pulled off and found out that i was running on flats. use the panther green molded foam inserts i heard those last long enough that you can re- use them when your tires are worn out.

If your prepared to spend the cash the Airtronics 94358 makes one heck of a steering servo. I've been using a Hitec 5925 for the last 3 or 4 years and its only ever given me one problem, the gears stripped out last year. Besides that it hasnt given me any trouble. The 120oz-in seems to be enough easily. The high speed is awsome to, I hate having a slow servo, it makes the buggy really hard to drive fast.
