The Orion LiFe pack is ok for race day if you are charging it but mine never takes more than 900 Ma... it totally sucks if you want to get any kind of practice in without charging. Noticeably the lowest capacity and run time pack I have ever run.

Yeah Tony, I'm pretty sure you're a better driver than I am. I can get a little throttle happy at times. If I stay calm, it's all good.

Pinkston, I haven't been up there yet either. Gesh, between being sick or work, it's not been good lately. I must have the immune system of a cardboard box as I have caught everything going around.

What servos you use? I have a hitec 7955 and 5625. I can run two practice tanks, 2 four min warm up, 2 six min qualifiers before I charge and it only loses 350 more or less. I charge only before the main so once a day. I do the first the night before.

In all my 10th scales I use the 1257TG. Insane fast. Warranty is much faster too. Not that you'll need it. And priced less than other brands.

Hitecs are great servos too. I'm not by any means telling anyone to go out and trash all their Hitec stuff and buy Savox. I'm just saying if you are buying a new servo then you might as well get the Savox.
Dude, most of the websites are selling the 1267sg instead of 1267mg, any idea bout their differences?

im looking at hitec 7954 as an 2nd option

Not sure about that... in the last 2 years I've probably got less than 20hrs total track time, but 100hrs driving time. But this year is different, we have a new track going in 200x80 now I can finally get some practice

lol cardboard box... I hear ya. Both my kids bring everything home from school, it rotates through everyone here, just when everyone feels good.. bang sick again

Koop, You may desire to change everything to whatever setup you want.
The shocks should be around 35wt.
The diffs are 10-10-5

I have contacted Savox USA and asked them to chime in on their warranty policies here. I don't want to comment on that as I might not get it 100% correct.
The whole Savox line has a 1 year warranty here in the US backed up by HRP Distributing. Anything but obvious use and abuse gets replaced within a day of receiving the bad one back.

1267SG and 1267MG is the same unit. Some still carry the older labels, but all the same specs and materials.

We sell more SAVOX servos here at the hobby shop I manage in Lexington, KY than any other brand of servos. I think they are great and they also have a nice price on them. Way to go HRP for getting these servos into the USA market.
