they all have flaws. the 808 flaw was the ring and pinion bearings taking a dump and killing gears. It took a while and a few revisions to find the fix, but it was a point of concern in the car.

I think it's the Kia business model. Offer a decent product for a cut rate price. After established, add some bells and whistles in order to justify a slightly higher price. I'm not knocking this. In fact I would love to have one. Problem is, being a meddling driver, I doubt it would lower my D8 lap times. Still want one though.

Never had an issue with my 808 gears in 3 years, but the front a arms do get saggy.

I do see your point, every car has some issue, I agree it's the nature of racing... The HB car looks like a great ride for only 450 is it. great deal.....I have to give props to HB for putting the class in an affordable range.....

I was asking where I can place an order for 369.99. It was a question, I read on this thread that I could possibly get it for that price. I want to get one but, I'm looking for the lowest price. I'm a newbie, I was wondering if there is any other must have option parts I should get for this vehicle.

The only thing needed is the HB aluminum servo horn to match your steering servo

I think several of us can tell you the cost but I honestly don't think this is the best place for it. Brick and mortar stores are entitled to make a profit and I don't want to infringe that right.
However, I will say that the profit margin is rather small when dealing with car kits if you want to sell them and be competitive.
Locally, our store price will be $369.99.
