LiFe is awesome...but unfortunately, not 7.4v. For those using non-HV type servos LiFe would definitely be the choice.

I honestly have no idea what Hitec's warrantee policies are, havent had to warrantee a single servo in 5+ years. If a company is really good at warrantee, that means theyre well practiced at it.... no thanks

Im perfectly happy with Nimh still... Muchmore 1500 is cheap (I think I paid $12), the proper weight to balance the front end and lasts over 60mins

They say 3 is stock but it actually measures alot different on a setup board. I have seen different buggies with different amount of toe So I really don't know what to think about it.

As for the radio tray, I don't look for any kind of change. If they are looking at keeping this D8 design around for awhile which I'm sure they will, then make a tray. It's money, but I can assure you that HB sold more D8's than Custer killed indians.
While the car and truck are good, they could be better by offering quality plastic and metal. On a high bite track, I rotate/replace outdrives after 2 weekends and the car feels flap wore out.

Just tired of rebuilding.

I have my buggy almost done....I have been taking my time with the build. I am very anxious to run it. I really like my D8 that I have now. This HARA has to be faster. It is soooooo much lighter.

i got a 2300 lipo in the rear box, had to cut out the bottom. fits great and servo wires are tucked up front with the receiver. now i have the main wire and balance lead out the back and i can charge and balance the battery with out "having" to take it out.
