kma - That could definitely cause a problem, you're right. I'm glad you got a chance to look at it and hopefully solved the problem from happening again.

I'm assuming you're meaning fuel filter, not air filter? I don't think there's any reason to run a 2nd fuel filter in the 8IGHT as the clunk does a great job on its own. You could try shoe-gooing an external filter to the fuel tank if you still want to run one.

RETRO RC - I'll be there tonight when he runs it for the first time, so I would've told him after watching him freak out.

Jon - Haha. You're such an easy target!

g26er - 1-A should have more steering entering the corner, and less coming out of the corner. 3-C should have less entering the corner, and more coming out.

Actually, Marc Mcgurren (Mr. Mcgoo on here) did a body for me for Reedy and it came out very nice. I may have him do one for this. It's got a very visable yellow one color wonder on it for now.

Aaron- Oh well. What can you do?

Well, you've made progress. Racing off-road, getting an 8IGHT, leaving the setup gauge put away...

Default RC Pro Nitro Beach

Have you seen the pictures of the new Off Road track we’re building in Puerto Rico for our 1 ST Annual RC Pro “Nitro Beach” race?

We're going all out!

Are you considering attending?

mr. losi - Haha. My paint scheme came from the mid-90's...when fluorescent pink was "cool"! And it's definitely easier to see at night.

Jspeed - I've seen some info about it and think it sounds like a great adventure, but I don't think I'll be going. I've been out of the house so much already this year!

Bobby - A plan?

-- A couple heads ups --

- If you're in the San Diego area, make sure you go check out Family Hobbies Raceway, out by Barona Speedway. They club race on Friday nights and last night was my first one. I had a blast! Check out www.3familyhobbies.com

- While you're at it, cruise over to www.bmodsracing.com and check out the new website for B-Mods Racing. I just finished putting it together and it's really coming along.

Aaron,

I understand the being on the road too much thing.

The RC Pro "Nitro Beach" race is next January 10 - 13, 2008.

Not only will the 200' x 100' Off Road track be a lot of fun, but the Mar Hau resort that it's being built on is a great family vacation destination.

That is what is very different about the "Nitro Beach" event, it's so much more than just another race.

All the best!

Bobby - Haha, that's always the plan!

Derek - I don't think we'll be there for the Warm-Up.

Jspeed - Sounds awesome, I hope it works out great for the racers and for RCPro.

Aaron, I have a quick silly question that I hope hasn't been asked several times before: Why does Losi put red loctite in their 8ight kits? I used it because it came with the kit and have had some nightmares removing screws later.
