NEW AGAMA A8 BUGGGY

Question about CF shock towers:
1) how durable have they been out on the field? anyone have any first hand feedback on them?
2) is the geometry the same or does it change the characteristics of the vehicle. If so, how (again, anyone with first hand experience? ) .
Im thinking about getting them. Thanks!

Andrew Smolnik has been running them on his E-Buggy with great success! He is still rocking the original set after tons of packs, and a hand full of pretty hard tumbles

When will the aluminum rear hubs be available?

The geometry is the same as the USA Edition aluminum towers, but there are extra adjustment holes.

The middle upper shock mount hole is the same as the outer hole on the stock tower except lower for less up travel and more down travel. Use the short shock ends with this tower.
On this new front tower there are 6 more camber/roll center holes to chose from. Since they are carbon fiber and not aluminum, you must take precautions to prevent them from breaking.
Good question....I was wondering that myself. it says the same for the rear tower as well

I have 2 USA kits and both had the same old aluminum black towers. Nothin new. Hope they do come out with aluminum versions of the carbon towers. To me the 6 additional camber holes are too risky to use as the webbing between the holes is verrry thin.

..."This is a new geometry shock tower". It is shorter and wider then the stock Agama shock tower.

And these http://www.hobbyprousa.com/agamaraci...9&keyword=8311
You also need longer upper shock bolts, i would say about 3mm longer than stock and longer camber link bolts, prob about 5mm longer than stock. Sorry i don't have exact length. I also run a bead of ca glue around the edges of carbon fiber to help keep the layers from seperating. I put the option rear tower on my usa spec. and tested it last weekend and it made a big difference, def. worth it. I will be testing out the front option this weekend. The rear seemed to have added a lot more droop.
