That's what i thought but I;m wondering how it does when cornering. Is it possible that since the shocks are more upright that the rear end might break loose easier and harsher?

Not at all. The truck feels even more planted with the new option shock holes. It does seem to rotate better, but it doesn't over-rotate. I'd suggest giving it a shot. I love it!

I'm looking at them now. They say to run the inner lower hole for the camber link. What are your thoughts and the affect of the lower inner link holes?

Hi guys!
At the LAK (Latvian Amateur Cup) Rd 1 it was the 1st race with my Losi 8T 2.0. I was suprised of its controllability and durability. Inspite of weather conditions (wet snow, rain and little hail and temperature at +4...+6C and realy rough track). I used standart setup but I increesed rear ride height for 2mm and changed XTT tires to Proline LPR Bow-Tie. As result 2nd place in qualification an 1st in final. |
V2 Shock Tower
I ordered the new v2 shock tower, can someone give me some insight on camberlink placement, way back in the winter their was some talk about using shorter rear links to utilize the new outer lower hole and maybe a in the rear hub.Being the shock is moved more upright is a little lighter shock oil a good idea.I tried to find the posts on this info,i cant find it,its been a while.

I tun lower inside on the tower and A on the hub. I've been running it like that for a long time. You have to shorten the camber link a bit or run a camber link from the front of the truck. I also run a 2.0mm sway bar in the rear. This setup came from Casey Peck and Billy Fischer. |

the a hole is for people that run the short link...i have min there too..the b hole is for the people that run the stock link...i talked to casey and it has the same affect either way...so there is no need to shorten them any more with the v2 towers

A racer I know runs a Tekin 1400KV combo with a Rhino 4800 6s 20C battery. He get's almost 20 minutes on a battery and hardly any heat from the components. Not sure about the gearing, but this is a very efficient and fast combination.
