the mugan is a dam good truggy
But not as good as the losi :ha: |
I am wondering what you all are running for shims in the rear ring and pinion. Stock it has 2 on the left and 2 on the right. After the gears break in does anyone move 3 on the left and 1 on the right or run them all on the left to move the ring gear closer to the pinion?

i think in alloy bearing inserts a must up grade they just seem to work better and hold your diff alot more square less chance of slop due to plastic wear ect
|
I agree the alum diff supports are a must. I like them.
I have stripped out a front ring and pinion in this truck though. I replaced the rear at the same time just to make sure. Is anyones truck making a metal noise while accelerating? It sounds like ring and pinion but I am not sure. I have heard it on other 2.0's as well. |
I think I'm going to try my old 1.0 rear end and see what happens.

These are the new ones i made out of an old 8T body. i only made them because the 8T ones were a little short for my liking. they did work fine but i had an old body that i could cut up to make some longer ones you'll see here how you can stack the nuts so that you dont have to cut down the arm. do them up super tight as they do occasionally come undone. you also have to use a longer screw for the sway bar Attachment 490054 Attachment 490055 so it Can be done  |
