I've only done one steering servo on my 2.0 and that was the first day I had it.
Bought brand new Savox 20kg servo for the car, and went testing with it, and within half hour the gear set stripped out, landing off a smallish jump. The Savox is a shallow servo so wasn't hitting the guard, and from reading on forums, I backed off the servo saver spring a fair bit, and have had no issues since. On another note, I did notice my R+P clicked once yesterday, and I'd checked the shimming when I rebuilt the diff earlier in the week. |

modded 2.0 hubs
just wanted to let you know that i have a few sets of modded rear hubs and 1 set of modded front spindles left and will not be modding them any more thanks j-dub

tix looks like you be sending moded hubs all over the place now mate
|
that would be great if the losi parts and shipping wasn't so expensive here in Australia.
Thats why i got J-DUB to start doing it in the first place. He was doing an excellent job Im sure someone else will figure out how to do it. Or even better losi might just do it themselves to save us all the trouble |

Has anyone found 8t 2.0 arm guards for the rear yet without just re-drilling the 1.0 guards?

im sure he'll realise the error of his ways and come back to the losi :D
there you go again with the Will Not's the 8T guards will fit if you drill an extra hole for the sway bar screw and then put an extra nut on over the first nut on the outer hinge pin. so on the hinge pin it should go nut guard nut. ill get a photo tonight and show you what i mean i was using them for a little while until i made my own longer ones out of an old 8T body. they work heaps better than the 8T ones but the 8T ones do work pretty good You need to think outside the square on these types of things |
