i have painted my own bodies it does take along time. i respect people that paint these bodies it is a skill but lets say 80 bucks for two hours of work is ridiculous ! anywho back to the 2.0 !! i love my truggy i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world i tried out my losi 8ight and i didnt like it so i have my buddy drive it he loves it but the truggy for me is were its at.

What are yours guys view on the Ali spindles and spindle carriers? Anybody using them? I have been told not to use the carriers as the caster angle is not the same as the plastic ones, is this correct?

I am running the alum losi spindles, only because I have landed off a big jump onto a steak and busted a spindle where the steering ball link hooks up. After the alum upgrade no problems. I dont know about the carrier angle, but the carrier is not necessary it only adds weight.

X2...the spindles are nice to have and they will give you a Hair more steering....carrier's are heavy and not needed. :nod:

Most good paint jobs take a lot longer than 2 hours. Drawing the design and masking it can take 2 hours. Then you have to paint all the different layers. Plus you have to add in the talent factor, if you can't do it you have to pay someone to do it for you.

I know a painter and I've seen all the work that goes into painting these bodies, not to mention the paint and the equipment needed to paint. Really nice paint jobs are not rattle can jobs.

At $25 you're getting a steal, but don't count on that price lasting too long after he gets overrun with people wanting to get something painted for that price.

thats the guy who does my paint jobs, will never go to anyone else again.l this is my buggy he did for me. i had to paint my truggy body to get it ready for a race and havent got another one for him to paint

Oh yeah I agree. It's not an easy job and it does take some time.. And if he gets overrun like that then his prices will probably change. But til that happens I will be sending all the bodies I can et my hands on. LOL

I run both spindles and carriers. The carriers add weight on your front wheels, which in theory would give you a tad more steering, not that it is needed on the 2.0. Not sure if the carriers are needed, but I have em, so I run em!:nod:

I checked the droop on my car this evening and as expected, way too little. The front was 103 and the rear was 122. Hopefully this will help the car handle better with that corrected and the camber adjustment.
