it kinda pissed me off tho. out of the box the back right shock rod was out of the shock end. :flaming::flaming:

Mine was the same way so I fixed that side and then only 2 laps around the track and the other side was pulled out. After that I replaced all the ends on all the other shocks and it ran perfect after that.

i ended up checking mine out before i went to the track, i figured if there are so many guys having problems mine was gonna be that way also, ended up having 3 that were bad, changed them and didnt have a issue at the track at all

Question: The diff case part number has not changed from the ver.1 to 2 buggy and truggy. When peeps talk about the HD diff case you are talking about the case that supports the diff inserts? Are the HD diff cases need for the 1.0 truggy or did losi fix the stock plastic diff cases and now they hold up better?

The part number didn't change because they made the switch as a running change.

HD diff cases are the cases that have the aluminum inserts. Same cases used in the smart diffs.

The 1.0 truggy doesn't come with the new generation cases so it would be best to upgrade to 2.0 ones or HD cases. The HD cases are incredibly strong, however they weigh alot more than the all plastic ones. This means more rotating mass, which means less accelleration.

Has anyone tried grinding the webbing on the wheels to get the full steering throw without the carrier rubbing? I was looking at the carriers on my truggy and noticed they had worn down a little where they rubbed against the wheel.

Got to the hobby store, seals were broken and zip ties were cut. You know I'm going to say next.... Shock end was pulled off.:flaming: Called Horizon when I got home and new ones are on the way.:D Haven't even checked yet, but what's the difference between the original 8T and the new 2.0 rod end? I have a ton of the older ones in my tool box.
