Anybody running a charge lead on the outside of the radio box? If so where did you have it come out at? I hate having to take the lid of the charge between rounds.

i do, i just have it laying outside where the battery is, so between the battery and the throttle servo, never had an issue

What would you replace them with?

matters on your track but a universal tire selection is crimefighters up front and bowties in rear

I wouldnt go underneath. I once took your advise and run mine underneath.
I had to replace the transponder because a stone got jammed between the transponder and chassis. broke off the legs and put a hole in one of my transponders.
i now have 3 transponders mith busted legs

It may work well underneath but it also works fine on top

I too ran into the fuel tank opening while on my lid this weekend. Looking at the new body design there is not much room that the pull device can hide. Flip your body over on a table and see. Things will get pulled. Saw one guy running just the flat part of a zip tie. No end on it - no tubing. Much less to grab for the fuel man but may be better for those lid landings and losing your fuel on the track. Going to look at the other bodies and see how they may work.

That was a freak accident. It looks better protected from crashes at the bottom. By the way AMB transponders have lifetime warranty, no questions asked.

My friend sent one in because his wires were cut by the spur gear. They sent him a brand new one.

IS that lifetime even if the tabs get broken off or even cut off? Just curious on that part.

I guess it's like hitec.. up to the tech to decide once it's out of the 3 years. Hitecs new policy is that without a receipt they will not touch it, or yoou can pay like $80 to get it fixed. I'm guessing AMB is probably the same way unless the tech guy is cool about it.. BUT hitec has always taken care of their customers I might add.. I have never had a problem so as long as they see their not being shammed they will probably take care of ya!

I run my PT underneath and no probs here. I leave all the extra wire inside the receiver box.

As for the fuel tank opening. I took off the fuel tubing made the hole in the body round and larger and shortened it. I never had this prob with the 1.0 but there has to be an answer. I will keep trying new ideas.

took everyone's advice and cut and removed fuel tubing from my ziptie tank puller.I shortened it up as well, after a full day of running and a few bobbles putting me on my lid............no mo' spillage on the underside ;)

thanks all! TW

I have been running mine with like 1/2 inch of tubing, and so far zero issues. I did enlarge the hole quite a bit so the tubing wouldn't catch on the body on it's way down. Also makes it a lot easier to get the zip tie through the body. I still do worry about the ground pulling it open when you roll over, but so far so good.

Good result fella, i did that event this time last year for the first time with my Xt8 .. its very well run and a great track

I have just changed from Xray to Losi but didn't get my truck in time to compete .... 3 bump ups wow you hustler lol

Yeah, really well run event, they also finished the track and facilities off very well.

I ended up 52 overall including the Pro's and ahead of a lot of the F1 guys too, so well chuffed. Can't wait until I am really tuned into the Losi.

One of my mates is going back to Losi now after seeing them this weekend and he was a diehard X2 guy.

My poor car is really trashed though, could do with a new chassis already, that track was a real car breaker.

I went from wondering if I had made the right choice on the Sunday to be being totally convinced that the 8T 2.0 is the right car to have.

You gonna be at Clanfield next bank holiday for round 2 Tommo?

Did you put an end on the ziptie to pull it easier or do you run it without and just the flat ziptie sticking out?
