I went to the Track today and there were 3 slayers there. Boy does this thing out run them in the corners. In the straights this thing walks by them like they are pitting.
It is worlds apart from the Slayer, I feel kind of bad for the people I've sold Slayers to. I didn't realize just how much better it would be until I ran on the track with a couple of Slayers.

To the guys talking sway bars...

I did try pulling mine off and I didn't ultimately like it - but some may. With them off the obvious things happened, the truck rolled and dove more and transfered more weight. It made the truck feel better on corner entry, but it made it push more on corner exit and also had more of a tendency to traction roll which also made me slow down more to get a early entry into the corner.

I much preferred the truck staying flatter and using the throttle more to control the rotation instead of using the tires grip to make it turn....I spent less time waiting for the truck to settle.

But you should still try without it as it might work for you or your track. The track was pretty tight and blow out with a hard pack under a lot of sandy fluff.

LOL! SC9. Thats awsome:nod:. The cage looks a little off. looks like you could of mounted the body posts on the front side of the towers to of had made it fite on teh original holes. But then again pictures can be decieving.

That color looks awsome too. Nice scheme and color combo with the rims.

Man that is weird you have had two radio problems in a row I am using the stock radio for now and I hope to get a Spektrum in the future Were you running without the rear swaybar ? Thanks
i didn't get to run it long enough to make any changes at the track (removing the sway bar), i just didn't have confidence in the back up radio ...

hopefully i get a chance to run it next weekend

Thanks, I'm not sure about the cage mounting, I have a slash body that I use on the same chassis, as is, I had the slash body first, so I did'nt want to change the mounts just for another body. Did'nt have anything to do with the old Kyosho 777 extra parts, so here ya go, it should be fun. I would like to see this class go well, if enough racers can get into it, we need variety.

Thanks, the front bumper, I slotted the part that goes between the chassis, and the bulk head, and had to re-drill the screw holes, the top mounting braces, just flipped 180 degrees, and used longer screws to attach to the top bulk head/shock tower mounting holes. The back bumper was a little creative engineering, with a little dremel work, the cage fits just about perfect without any mods, the rear body mount holes line up perfect, the front holes are about 3/16 of an inch wider and back from K-car body mount, the next deal is to try the another set of tires, with the AKA tire foams, according to AE driver Ryan Maifield, there dialed, he's one of our local drivers and friend I've know since he was about 9 years old.
The guys up in Las Vegas are getting a full heat of the SC8's on some club nites.

I set it up as the AE SC8, with the truggy chassis, rear chassis brace, and rear center universal, and buggy a-arms, diffs, and universals, I'm using the BCE chassis on this, the ST-RR chassis was just about a half inch longer, and It did'nt look rite using the slash body, it would probably be fine with the St-RR chassis, if someone wanted to go with that.

I have a set of the proline bow ties with the V3 tires and wheels mounted on buggy wheels I would like to try some day also.
