I am having a bit of tuning issue. I was at ARC on Sunday, got my car around the track only one lap at a time. When I hit the straight away full throttle down to the end, let off and brake the motor dies out. Restart do it again and the same thing. Running about 220 on temp. Was thinking it might be the clutch. Had something similar happen with my BR50, swapping clutch shoes and bearings did the trick. Any ideas?

If your temps are at 220 and its flaming out as the motor revs down I would say that you are flaming out due to too much fuel. 220 seems low for this motor. I dont temp tune any more but 250-275 is more like it, IMO. Temp guns can be very decieving. Unless you are using a $300 temp gun used for HVAC work I wouldn't turst a $35 one. I now tune by sound pitch and smoke trail. Been doing this through the life of this engine and so far it still has plenty of pinch.

If you havent changed out the stock plug do so as well. I run OS#8 plugs and have yet to have an issue with this motor after over 1 1/2 gallon of fuel.

I dont know what your experience is with nirto motors but they tell you quite a bit by just listening to them.

Man, that thing looks totally scale now.

I was watching the World Series of Offroad this weekend, Renezeder came is 3rd, and thought that AE missed that detail.

I think my next body will eather one of the Amsoil trucks. I'm going to see is Traxass sells the decal sheet for that body and just paint the rest.

Half of what makes these things so fun is how realistic they look! Doing a SkyJacker version would be cool!

I would go with this one and if you do not find the stickers contact Mike at 247designs He can make any kind of sticker you could want . The best part about his stickers is that they are thick high stick vinyl and they are precut to . Thanks Gary

BTW: I think Carl would of got that race if it wasn't for the flat tire unless you are talking about the pro 2 than that is because of........... the sun yeah the sun was in his eyes :)

Could be worn shoes but before ordering any I would take the motor off and spin the clutch bell and see if there is any grabbing than take it off and inspect the shoes . How much running do you have on it if not much than I would still check these things but it is probably more of a tunning issue than clutch . Hope that helps..

Nah, I was talking about pro4. I was pulling for him too but I knew he wouldnt recover aftre he went in to that "hole". I really hope that series, WSoORR, sticks because I like it better than CORR. I like the fact that they race at more than 2 tracks even though the Quarry in Chula Vista is an awsome track:nod:.

If he can replicate all those stickers then I'll contact him for sure!

Oh yeah I forgot about the few seconds he became a mole :) Yeah that series is great the first time I seen that series was live here in Missouri at the Lucas oil speedway it was the final race of the year so they were all going crazy !

I am sure he could duplicate them you would just have to get some kind of measurements for him to get an idea and of course some pictures like the one above look on his website his shop number is on there along with his business hours he is a great guy super nice and does killer work tell him Gary sent ya Latter

Yes, I did the body. I did some research and found the Monster Energy Hummer that they run at the Dakkar Rally and made my own version of that. Callie Graphics made some of the decals and I found some at a motocross shop.

+2 I'd be all over one of these if it was available as a roller or better yet a kit.
