I only replaced mines because the whole knuckle along with the bushings pulled out on me twice with the stock plastic ones. Since then, no problems and I like the bling too.

The allum. c hubs give it a more positive feel,,,,
The chassis,,,,,,,, well whoever dont think there is an issue is nuts !! Yep i said nuts I ran the OS 19 with a very small mark from the clutch bell and then switched to Nova and have been through 4 front bearings, a bent crank and a cracked block. I think that counts as a problem But the problem is GONE !!! I started with drilling a hole (1/2in) and then i bought a BCE chassis wich came with a hole already in the chassis. I went through one more front bearing and then removed ALL the material under the bell and WALLA problem fixed Truely a bad ass car,,,, just a few tweaks, just like all cars out there.

Scott. Totally agree with you. If you drive on a gentle track with small jumps you will only see marks in the chassis. If you drive on a track like Fear Farm where they had the Nitro Challenge clutch bells will blow up. Dremmel out under the clutch bell and put a brace in and the problems will go away.

Side note: Tebo was using a TKI 1 chassis at the Nitro Challenge as the TKI 2 had too much flex for the big jumps and he drives soooooo smooth. Think about the average driver that has 10 x more crashes and 10 x worse crashes. Fantastic car but the flex at the clutch bell needs addressing!!!!!

So you guys think removing all the material under the bell is the best option? I saw that the new BCE chassis comes like this. If I remove all the material, will I be ok running the stock engine mount instead of a kings head extended?

Also, with the large opening under the clutch bell, anyone worried about flameouts caused by dirt getting jammed into that area?

I have been runing mine this way with NO problems at all, also I know Donrod has ran a chassis like this with no problem as well. The clutch bell has slip as unlike the flywheel, anyways this was the best idea i could think of to stop the bearing damage.

If you case a jump really bad the clutch bell will rub in the dirt, but I have never had a flame out.
