Haha, you're a little closer to the 40+ class. So please let me know By then, if it still is fun to race with little cars

The older you get, the more you actually enjoy it, as it is not about winning, but be the best you can be and accepting there will always be someone better and faster than you.
Long live the MP9

MP9 TKI
MP9 SE
MP9e
MP9 TKI2
MP9e SE
MP9 TKI2 WC
I foresee one more MP9 revision before a complete new chassis release in 2014

I agree with you on the part that it is getting more enjoyable when you accept that there will always be better drivers

About the new model for the WC, we will see whether it will be a revision or a completely new model. More important? Another title

Quick question!

I am running the 91mm swing shafts all around, on the front i have them shimmed on the inside (one side has a shim on the outside as well). When i have the car at full compression off the ground i can get the pin on the swing shaft very close to popping out of the outdrive, is this normal? I have to really flex the arms to make this happen but its enough to make me worry a little.

Sorry if this has been brought up in previous pages.
The tapered holes create more dampening, havent found an application that they are desireable yet????

I noticed that also, but the MP9's diffs have a smaller internal volume than the MBX6. So it is more important to stay on top of the fluids and use high quality oils.

Anyone have any idea if any other brand's diff gears would fit/be the same size and useable inside the Kyosho diff cases? I've seen many machined or hardened steel gears that look to be pretty much identical to our MP9 diff gears but that's only from pics, not from looking at the actual gears themselves. Would love to know if any other brand gears will fit coz I hate the absolute rubbish gears we have to make do with, cast from pot metal or whatever happens to be the cheapest, crappiest steel Kyosho can buy in bulk.

This was asked about some time ago, dunno if it was ever answered, but here's the alloy servo arm that will work for the throttle/brake on the MP9, as it has a 'stepped' arm, as in one side higher than the other, just as per the stock Kyosho part. No idea why anyone would need it, but here it is all the same.

Hello Guys,

i am using Kyosho Oils for my beloved MP9 but i think the bottle is a little overpriced specially the shocks one since the bottle is so small and you basically can only do 1 maintenance per bottle. Do you think the quality is worth the price or can you tell me what oil brand do you use ? i noticed from the settings that pitpop does not uses K oils.

Thanks and Cheers,

C2K

Losi oils, decent value, and most people in N.A. seems to use it, so makes it easy to match setups.
