Been using them for a while now, they work great, but you must go way down on you oils, I am using 30 front and 25 rear and make sure you install them conical side down, big holes towards the shock cap, ho and they do not wear the body coating like the plastic ones due to the o-ring.

I like the idea behind the design, and it makes a lot of sense. With the prices for everything else in this hobby, and the fact is IS made by Fioroni it seems to be in line..

Default Dirty Diffs

I have noticed that my diffs need to be changed out much more often than my Mugen 6 did. The oil inside my Kyosho diffs are black as night after only a half gallon and the oil seems completely burnt out.

Is this normal with the K cars?

Later,
I know this is from a few pages back but I had to comment Ive had the 11 spec 808 since mid 2011 and it was my first 'real' race car. Ive been strugling with the suspension and handling ever since. I just thought 'Thats the way nitro are' not knowing any better. Well at practice this last weekend I finally got to a point where I thought I finally had a half way decent setup on the 808. By chance,a guy who was helping me with setup, Gil a friend of a friend, offered to let me drive his TKI2 for a few laps. No lie, it took one turn(a small chicane actually) and my decision was instantly made to jump ship. Didnt even want to drive the Xray after that. I went home sat. night put everything up for sale, and a shiny new TKI2 wc is on its way as of this morning The price stung a bit but im sure I'll get over it! I believe this car might have magical powers. I cant wait. Might have to jump from sportsman up to pro next weekend
I will say one thing about the Xray though. That car is absolutelly bullet proof. I never broke one part on that car and it still looks great. Its a very well built car, but in my opinion,its just not in the same league as the Kyosho. I feel bad abandoning all the cool, helpful Xray drivers I met over the last year but im also pumped to start rockin the Yosh!

What is the theory behind running straight hole pistons instead tapered ones?
Sorry if this has been brought up in previous pages.

Hello guys,

I'd like to ask your help.
IFW421 is an optional 84mm Front/Center CVD shaft.
Is the 84mm the full lenght of the shaft only or the lenght with coupler together (assembled)?

IFW457 Universal Swing Shaft - how long is this assembled shaft?

Thanks

777wc won in 2006 (and the 7.5 could be upgraded to 777wc, so 8 years upgrading the same platform) i would not be surprised to see an upgraded mp9 released on more time, after all...IT WAS FAST ENOUGH TO WIN THE WORLDS just don't let the dingo guys find out about it.
Believe me, ever since I follow rc racing, it has always been the same with Kyosho

Burns => Turbo Burns
Inferno=> Turbo Inferno
MP5=> MP5 Special Evolution II
MP6=> MP6 International
MP777SP1 => MP777SP2
MP9=> MP9TKI2 (=>WC)
2012=> MP?

But maybe the will surprise me, the MP9 is more than capable doing the job again

Yup, you're right. Forgot the mp7.5's, which I also have had. I started with the MP5 and after that i have had almost all models. You still have a Burns? Any other older models to? I wish I had the money to keep al my cars when a new model was introduced. But didn't have it when i was a schoolboy

Anyway, it wasn't my intention to show you how well i know Kyosho. I just wanted to 'say' that looking back at the history they have with releasing new models, I expect a completely new design at this years worlds.

By the way the designers surname is Kanai and not Kanay
