I'm sure they're always working on something; would be silly not to. Can't seen anything coming out before October ish. That being said; what could they possibly improve? Handling wise this car is second to no one.
I suppose they could address some maintenance issues like using a split center diff mount for faster maintenance on the center diff.

Yeah I drove or owned,Losi 2.0, MBX6, RC8 and RC8.2, Serpent, Agama, D8, DNX408...etc . Drove the Agama and RC8.2 just a few months back. They were all ok at best....RC8.2 was decent ,but loose under heavy throttle and not as stable as the Kcar, and Agama was just a Losi to me. Drove like one....had better steering, but nothing like the K car. Serpent is/was the best car other then the Kcar. If I have to move away from the Kcar for some reason, serpent is back in the garage. DNX was the worst car BY FAR .

All kidding asside; Tamiya is a good car -- very similar geometry to the MP9. I think they would do better if they could get more LHS presense. I've never seen one on the shelf at any of the LHSs in my city.
