I kinda already knew the answer before I asked. I think it would be easier to get a sponsorship from xray before I'd see some pictures.

How's about it, there aren't any xray sponsored drivers here in the midwest besides drew.
If I mwas serious I would of done something by now.
anyway, I'd be better if I was able to travel around to larger races, and the best finish I ever had was 2nd in the roar region 8 expert Truggy class

Your right, because that info has not yet been announced.

Everyone that is up in arms about this "looking" like a Losi, just remember

IMO: If it drives like a Losi (It should), and has the quality of X-Ray/Hudy (It will), this Buggy is going to be awesome. Best of both worlds...

I really like my 8IGHT, and I don't break many parts racing, but I do wear them out frequently.....

There are 4-5 local 8IGHT racers looking hard at the 808 too....

All kidding aside, it DOES look like a sensible design and competent contender... In pictures anyway. I shall hold my tongue regarding the 808 until its performance can be verified with first-hand experience.

Respectful?! Are you kiddin?! If you as a Xray driver or the Hudy gang wants respect, they can EARN IT by designing their own buggy. They have lost all credibility in my opinion with their recent copies of Kyosho V-One RRR and now the Losi 8ight. I have always bough Hudy tools because they made really high quality stuff that was unique in many ways. It wasn't long before many companies were copying their set-up systems, hand tools, etc. I still never spent any money , however, on the copies because I think it's weak to reward some A-hole that does nothing but copy products from other companies. Now I find myself if the position of feeling the same way about Xray/Hudy, and frankly, I lost my will to stay loyal to them on their mostly original products. They had my respect AND my money until they started copying Kyosho, now Losi, and who knows else.

P.S. Wunja - brilliant work. You said what every self-respecting RC fan was already thinking.

Everyone copys everything that works its just how things go. Then they add their take on the concept. Sure the design is Losi inspired, but it isnt an 8ight. You people complaining about it being a copy should just stop using everything made in the RC industry because they are all copies of somebody elses design with a few changes added.
