Yeah, I preordered mine last week. As long as you have the part number you can take it to your local hobby shop and have it preordered, that's if they already deal with RCAMERICA.

I took a leap and sold my Losi in anticipation for this buggy. I'd like to have it before the first proseries race takes place here in the north.

Interesting. I am keeping my Losi to compare the 808 to, and also in the chance that I like my Losi better. Who knows...I HAVE been dying to own an Xray kit since I saw the quality.

I was with Rocco and Jason B. this weekend and all I can say is this car blows away the Losi. Jason had 3 laps on the field in the A main and just cruised the rest of the race. It DOES perform like the losi but it is solid as a rock.

I have to say. That body is SICK. I bet it would be hell to make a wrap for. Look how low it sits. The vspec head totally clears the top. I like

Yes, but I am but a mere mortal club racer, where I rarely, if at all, see the full potential of a chassis. Stephen Bess was showing up to our club for a little while, and I could hold him off for a quarter lap, maybe more, but eventually I gave in to his pressures and bobbled somewhere. I do doubt that I will have second thoughts about keeping the Losi once I have built the 808.

I'd like to see pictures of his car, the white body on the test pictures still don't reveal enough.

Honestly I didn't like the body, but I was not sure as it was ALL white, which makes the features and curves hard to distinguish. Thats interesting that a body for the 8 fits... I wonder how "phat" the car is. The engine is not near as centered as a Losi 8. Damn Im stoked to build this! Long live the kit.

When dont JB have a lap or so on the entire field.......

The design of the car is sweet no doubt, I just wish xray wouldn't change models so fast.
