I have been using the D8 tank since I got my Xray 808 and have not had an issue. I use to use it on my rc8 now i use it on my 808. Fits fine, even using stock posts, just make sure you use the grommets that come with the d8 tank for proper spacing. Pic w/o body after hard day of practice lol, bent my stinger on pipe fuel was leaking a bit.

When I mounted it, the little part where there fuel line comes out rubs the steering post. I don't know if you did anything special but for me it didn't work.

I don't know why you'd want a HB tank on your Xray anyway. They're not exactly known as an awesome fuel tank.
Anyway if you wanted to do it for some reason you could probably just run the line through like the losi tank. That should get rid of any issues the nipple causes. Bet you didn't think of that huh Weaver?

I tried it with both the HB mounts and the stock Xray mounts, I also used the HB grommets. The Losi tank doesn't fit.

Losi does not fit, but this one fits perfect. I did not have to mod anything. I have a 2010 if that matters, but no modding necessary. The nipple sits right over the hanger grub screw but slightly to the right and i can fit a hex right beside the line to adjust the screw. From my experience with all cars clunk tanks seem to work better so that is why I tried it. Plus the tanks are pretty cheap if i need a replacement. Also if I wanted I could take the losi filter and line out and use it.

Yeah I prefer the clunk tanks too, but for some reason I couldn't get mine to fit.
