Mugen MBX6

I tried the new Long chassis this weekend, same exact setup as before but ended up putting more preload in the rear and moving rear shocks all way out on tower, car is noticeably better all over...... may end up with 1 rate stiffer rear spring so I can move shocks back to a more central location...Super dialed for me on a fairly smooth hard pack with dust.... LOTS of rear traction and super stable all over especially off the corner..
if you prefer a lot of rear traction, try a long rear camber link as well.

Same Thing happened to my X6 M-Spec also, tightened it up then loctited and no more problems for a little while.Anyone who owns a X6 or X6T should do themselves a favor and upgrade to one of these, http://www.m2cracing.com/product.sc?...&categoryId=36 . After breaking 3 of the plastic ones,I installed these on buggy and truggy both. One of the best upgrades you can get.If you have never broke the plastic servo saver arm,it`s a real headache to try and get fixed during club racing.

people have told me (havent tried yet) 8.0 in front, 8.5 in rear... 450 front 400 rear i believe... but like i said, i do not have the new springs yet and ive only owned a mugen for 2 weeks...this is just what i heard.

Hey guys, I am trying to rebuild a used MBX6 that I just got... and it needs the brake pad screws, the screws that hold the brake pads on. I cannot seem to find/figure out where I can get some...
any ideas?

I just ran outside for 6 hours today and ran 8.0 f & 8.25 r with 500 front 450 rear, black pistons. This is probably a personal preferance more than anything, our track was very bumpy and dry slick with lots of dust! This was with the BCE chassis but that shouldnt matter, this will give you a starting point. I feel the black pistons give you better high speed dampening.

Where were you running outside at?

I would like to get the werks racing clutch for the mugen. Is there anything i should know or get to make it work smoothly. Or if anyone has input on other clutch systems.

i just bought the engine , clutch and pipe.....i found it best to use a clutch bell other than mugen. ofna 3 hole or protek will work nicely. hpi bells will work also.
