Flat head (and this one i really need)

3x32 (lower bulkhead F/R) This one irritates me the most. I feel uncomfortable using anything but this size on the bulkhead because it is such a critical part. Tony for some reason has none of these sizes, and if i go on amain to get these sizes they only have them in titanium (how convenient). I order screws all the time from tony and just settled for the next size, i am making another order now and it got under my skin again and would like to know what you guys do.

I thought about ordering some really long ones and cutting them myself like all thread. Its all just a big PITA, how can you specialize in mugen and screws and not have the right sizes?
Sorry I missed your post.

On the 3x18mm screws I use a cap head in my kits. Don't have a Grade 12.9 3x18mm button head. But the cap head is better with a larger 2.5mm driver.

On the 3x23mm screws I use 3x25mm. 23mm is a non-standard length not available in Grade 12.9.

On the 3x28mm screws I supply a 3x30mm screw. Again the 28mm is a non-standard size. But the longer screws have plenty of room.

Best regards,

Thats also what i use for the last 2 years.
I now have the 1256tg on steering and 1258 tg on trottle/breaking.
I was using the 1258tg on steering in my buggy but because its so fast, it made the car very twichy on steering.
The power was plenty but just to fast, next servo's will be the savox 1267 and 1268 for me.
Good servo's for the value, got mine sponserd but if i had to pay for them i would steel pick them.
In Europe they are alot cheaper then similair spec Futaba's, Hitec's or Sanwa/Airtronics.

Guys,

Just to ask, If your car broke a lower arm,do you change a pair(left and right) together?or just one side?

For me,I would do on both side.due to new arm fit better.
Got my Rc 4 transponder, anyone got a way of to protect it from dirt?(Like wrapping in a plastic or ......)

Cheers

I don't think the xp1313 can handle the straight lipo..That could be your problem ,plus check the travel (or end point ) on your set up !

Tested a different brand of tyres trackside yesterday, have to say i was amazed at how much of a difference it made,

The car was almost undriveable over bumps, it also caught every rut and wanted to flip.

Needless to say wont be doing that again completely wrecked my confidence hahaha

Guys, what happens if you boil the A arm 2 times? I won a full set of A arms on ebay but they are used. I don't know if they have been boiled before.

And I broke 1 lower A arm yesterday and I'm expecting these arms this week and I'll boil them if it's np.

Yep - tires are 95% of setup... get the right tires for your track before you even think about the rest, as long as the rest is in good shape (no binding and squee... er, sorry, lousy joke) and symmetric

Is there any news/rumors of a new buggy?
Even though I love my Mugen, it is rapidly becoming one of the oldest buggies on the market now.
There is the new MRX5 for the track boys. What about us Buggy boys?

Little elves told me we might see a new front end for the buggy. MRX-esque perhaps?

We shall see right after the worlds, ie in a couple of months... Prolly some kind of MBX-6 Prospec or MBX-6R... the car still wins in close-to-stock form at the highest level, but Mugen's got to keep their marketing-gimmicks-hungry customers happy
