I ran mine today for the first time, and here is some advice and please take it with a grain of salt................ put some grease on your ring and pinions mine were bone dry(I found out AFTER the 4th tank on the track), there is NO signs of locktite anywhere that I could find(I found this out after the 2nd tank on the track) when I had to replace the screws that hold the steering posts underneath. Also put some red or green locktite on the f/r center cvd's, My front center spit the pin out 2x in 30 minutes................. Im not bitching, I like the car, but if its supposed top be sold as a race roller it needs to be finished............, I got a total of 6 tanks through mine today, gonna tear all the diffs apart and reshim the f/r r&P's, they are sloppy already(backlash) and the front starting clicking on the last tank so I pulled it off as soon as I heard that and called it a day. Grease would have helped I am sure LOL also I am gonna go 575 or 555 in the diffs...... squirly off the corners on power right now. with the 573.

^^^Precisely why I'll never race a "Race Roller" :P At least not where 1/8 is concerned. I'll happily beat on a Slash or something along those lines where I'm out to have fun...but for pure racing performance...

Dang even Mugen can't get their ARTR's right... when you go ARTR, that's quite a gamble from a company... if you get it wrong it's even worse than not getting into this market at all.

Shame.

I think you can make this car do about anything you want. You just have to figure out how to get it there.

Thanks - euro tracks typically have a lot less jumps and more faster sections, but barring the top-notch tracks they tend to get blown up really really quick, with many holes, ruts and rocks.

I'll start with my base setup (400 and 6x1.25 F/R) and if time allows I'll try a set of 550/10F and 500/11R (was too lazy to redo the fronts, that kinda dictated the rears ).

Curious to see how the car will hold together for 4h in a row without any maintenance (rear hub bearings : ouch - the good news is, I know how to change them fast...)

wow 6x1.4mm? that's quite a bit of space for oil to flow through... this will take a lot of compression to pack, and is beginning to push the edge of "plushness" i'd think, a bit too different from the sweet spot Koji thought about when designing the suspension I'd say... the car could easily start "dancing" in the HF ruts, and it will bottom out if you have jumps I'd think...

Anyone know what the included upgrade graphics look like on the M spec? Also is the body thicker than the original MBX6 body? Getting ready to order my car today.

Thanks

it is but if you look at the 8B 2.0 it comes with #54 pistons as stock up front, if you convert a #54 to metric it comes out as 1.39mm and losi pistons are 6 hole as std, also worth noting Ghea make 8 x1.45 hole pistons for the RC8 and possibly some other cars as well !!!!! they are tapered though if that makes a difference as they state "for the rough conditions"
