Default Look what I did to my car!

Well, I got bored and decided to make a few changes to my car. I had most of the big parts annodized/electropolished Black, chassis, shocks, and shock towers. Every other aluminum piece I had annodized Mountain Dew green.

it would of cost me 40 bucks but I had them buff the scratches out of my chassis, and electro polish the Black parts which drove the overall price up to 80 bucks!

If I were to get a roller I'd heatshrink the front/rear CVD to pinions. After break in I'd re-loctite the screw for the shock pistons. Then I'd solder the in-tank bronze filter to the insert in the fuel line. These would be the first things I do.

The heat shrink thing doesn`t last long at all . I used liquid electrical tape which has lasted almost a year . I know just put the GMK cvd condoms on and seem to work so far .

I'd like to try the GMK covers sometime. For now the heat shrink I have has been on since January this year. But it is HEAVY DUTY. It doesn't really shrink. When heat is applied the inside diameter expands, grows inward. The outside does slightly shrink but not much. Also on the inside is adhesive which sticks good. It's weird but this stuff ends up being 1.8mm thick, measured with calipers. It's really thick. The one problem I had was when I first put it on. I used too long of a piece and it grinded the rear diff around the pinion bearing. The heat shrink looked like I had just put it on, but the pinion, bearing, and diff case were toasted. So I use a tiny sliver now to just cover up the cvd pins.

I have the GMK condoms on my truggy, they work fine so I will do the same for the buggy.

As for the bugs, Losi put out amendments for the radio tray install. To add o rings and use differnet screws. Or was that just for the 8T? Also adding a small spring to the throttle/brake linkage.
