I have had many 358s and believe me they are no where near as strong or as fast as the Ace servos regardless of what the specs are on paper.

If there is a difference I am sure its minimal. Not like its even going to be .02 faster. Same as torque. Either way, it just comes down to driver.

BTW anyone have an idea of shims I can use on the diff pinion and inside the diff itself? I called horizon and Losi does not make any that they were aware of. What about other brands? My front diff needs to be shimmed soon.

I bet the Sportwerks Mayhem and Turmoil shims would work. Frankly the diff cases look identical to the Losi 8 cases.

Does anybody run a fuel filter with their 8ight? just asking because Im new to the 8ight (love it by the way) and noticed most people dont have one? All the other buggies Ive owned used one. Is the fuel pick-up filliment thing in the fuel tank the filter?

Thanks, Ill try those parts if I can get them.

Kyle: I use a fuel filter in my 8 as the main track I run on is VERY dusty usually. I am still working on getting it attached nicely though. Seems my shoe goo method wont hold even after lightly scuffing the glue points.

Ofna sells a fuel filter, that comes with a mount, and it has a hole in it so you can put it just about anywhere.

Ya, I just got the big Jammin fuel filter. A few minutes ago I sanded down the mount so that I could attach it to the pin that goes through the fuel cap and spring. Then reattached the e-clip. Keep in mind the body clearance though. If mounted in this fashion, the fuel opening in the body must be cut accordingly.

Finally a purpose built box for the 8ight/8ight-T. I'll buy one as soon as it's in stock somewhere.

I hate having to carry around two boxes.

I'll have my 2 LIKE NEW Mugen boxes up for auction on eBay as soon as my new Losi arrives in the mail.

If you are running both the 8B and 8T you will still have to carry 2 boxes around. There is no way to set up any box to start both cars.

if you actually read the description on the Losi Starter Box you'd know that it changes from the 8ight B to the 8ight T in 10 seconds
