Nope... But to be honest, I prefer them in the front of mine with the trailing caster blocks.

I'm sure the car will be great once it is 100% figured out. There are so many new features on the car its pretty much like jumping brands and staring from square one.

I prefer universals, traction or no traction, but that's me.. cvds have more parts and are not as strong

Yes, They come in the front of the 18.. The 17 had universals all the way around.. Funny though, some people want them, some don't.. Hard to please us all I guess.

I stand corrected, the nitro does come with front unis and the ebuggy comes with full cvds, weird.

I don't see any reason to run so much scrub nor SAI (our cars haven't any space constraints like 1:1 cars) so I am asking here in hopes of someone in the know to school me.
Agree with that. The hub bearings make it a little tricky though?

And I can rebuild them, not so with cvd's. And cvd's seem to slop out quicker then universals.

..also some might say with the castor angle used offroad, do you really need the amount of steer camber you get on the outside cornering wheel with zero SAI?

Talking about the axle and bearing that would mean only a captured axle would work, that way the outside CVD barrel pivots right on the steering axis and that is why CVD don't handle the same as universals if their pin to pin length doesn't match.

About SAI and the outboard tire I would say in low speed yes it does make a difference but when I mean low speed it's really low speed like around 10mph, more caster is actually worse.

i meant to reply to someone else on page before saying the new x car it might be to stiff. Yea I know it's completely different and not comparable.

i had the quick change mount on it on that track, that track was jump after jump very hard on the car. A lot of people didn't Iike the layout and a lot of people were breaking cars and getting loose parts. The regular chassis did fine on that layout with stock mount. Yea i had that king heads mount to but sold it to.

Also new on the car are extended body mounts. Less chance of body ripping apart.

There’s a lot of little things people will notice once they get it! They are still developing it so we all get the great car we want.
