TLR 8ightX
Edit
|
With the ROAR NATS starting in the morning, this year being a world's year, and the release on TLR's faceFace page today indicating a new release tomorrow. One can only assume wellwhave a new buggy in the morning!
What are you expecting to see? Will it be a 5.0? Why X? |
The TLR guys are keeping all their cars under covers today when they aren't on the track practicing at the ROAR Fuel Nats, so I haven't been able get a good look at them yet. I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow- if is a new buggy being released.

Seems like the whole car will revised. Engine mount. No cut out for new diff cases http://www.liverc.com/news/announcements/18258-Photos_of_the_forthcoming_TLR_8ight-X/https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...eb5f3c6f7.jpeg |
Solid arms, rear diff looks different at the sway bar mounts....definitely new steering rack....new radio tray and chassis.....it’s ALL new |
Question - how long does TLR usually like to wait until the electric version release?
|
What you think price will be? |
Arms appear to be monocoque design with inserts maybe. I’ll go out on a limb and guess that it’ll be metric screws as well. |
the rear arms look to eliminate the driveshaft angle now.
looks like a narrower steering block as well. hopefully they have gone back to the inclined king pin |
