Default Getting Back On Track

Alright, hopefully I can generate some buzz about the upcoming Oval Season.

As rumor has it, The mini late models will be running BOX STOCK, and the mini sliders will be an "open" class which would allow lipo, brushless, ect.

Im planning on returning with a mini slider equiped with the whole nine yards

Lets hear what others are planning to run this winter as well on the oval.

here is a sneek peek as to what I want my mini slider to look like

Honestly I think that the Late Models will be the biggest "mini" class simply because it will be a box stock class, like the sliders were last year.

I want to run the "Outlaw" slider class because I can throw a brushless/lipo in it and run it all year without any motor hassles.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the Late Models will be run on the short track and the sliders will run on the big track.

Im hoping that some of the racers who raced sliders last year decide to run the "outlaw" slider class this year.

Who knows for sure which will be the biggest class but I would bet that the Late Models will be bigger.

my $.02

Well............

I have decided to race the Late Model class. I know that a lot of people have already bought the Losi Late Model and that this class is going to be BIG and I want to race as many people as I can.

So it is official, I went to HT today and bought me a Late Model

Prepare to be dominated

Here is the paint scheme that I want: Kasey Kahne Mopar #9

So this is a box stock class correct as in no glue on the sides of tires, changing springs, shock oil, or anything else right?

Without starting a new thread, this seems like the closest thing that I could find to a dirt oval thread in this forum. I get back to NE now and then to visit family and was wondering if there are any indoor dirt oval tracks in the state making it worth me packing up some cars to race. I'd be in Sutton, so I'd probably be willing to drive as far west as Kearney and as far east as Omaha to race.

Sadly, Nebraska doesnt have any dirt ovals, indoor or out.

Rumor has it that Lincoln may be building and outdoor dirt oval for next year.

The closest we get to oval racing, is on the carpet at the HobbyPlex in Omaha.
