Thanks
I always do the shoe goo job in the places most likely to crack. Then I just do extra shoe goo/drywall tape in the future when needed. I’ve tried gorilla tape many times in the past and I feel it’s worthless compared to a good goo job. I brace the inside(with Kydex or truck bed liner pieces) of most of my bodies too like in picture. They flex much less on lid landings when you do this. I get very long lives out of my bodies....I enjoy the challenge of making them strong and then finding ways to repair and strengthen them once they get beat up.

Vettehigh, those m2c braces look awesome along with your Tbone gear! Any more specs on the skidplate, how it installs, thickness, etc.? Does it have a sticky side that glues to the bottom of your chassis or is it only held on my a few screws on each end? I have one of those thicker flexible plastic skids on mine that had adhesive tape but its pretty torn up from rocky terrain bashing and me peeling it back to access screws. On the fence about something like a Tbone or just just running as is.

Makes sense i think i find satisfaction in the same thing haha, thanks for the pic! After about 5 of my bash sessions the used body i got with my truck was complete garbage. Shoe goo and drywall tape method saved the body and 100% brought it back to life for its next 40 or so packs of bashing i've put her through.
