Now you have to bring it to Binghamton skate park and put it to the test!

They flex much less on lid landings when you do this. I get very long lives out of my bodies....I enjoy the challenge of making them strong and then finding ways to repair and strengthen them once they get beat up.
Makes sense i think i find satisfaction in the same thing haha, thanks for the pic! After about 5 of my bash sessions the used body i got with my truck was complete garbage. Shoe goo and drywall tape method saved the body and 100% brought it back to life for its next 40 or so packs of bashing i've put her through.

Vettehigh, those m2c braces look awesome along with your Tbone gear! Any more specs on the skidplate, how it installs, thickness, etc.? Does it have a sticky side that glues to the bottom of your chassis or is it only held on my a few screws on each end? I have one of those thicker flexible plastic skids on mine that had adhesive tape but its pretty torn up from rocky terrain bashing and me peeling it back to access screws. On the fence about something like a Tbone or just just running as is.

It's solid .125 nylon and it goes under front/rear TBR bumpers. I had TBR drill the mounting holes too. M4 screws are supplied by TBR with the bumpers I bought from them. You unscrew the 4 front bumper screws, you then unscrew the 4 rear bumper screws, you then put the .125 nylon chassis skid on, you then put the front/rear TBR bumpers on top of the nylon chassis skid, you then screw in all 4 front bumper screws and 4 rear bumper screws, then you are done

I use the following bumpers:
Front TBR bumper #57017
Rear TBR bumper #57021

Unbreakable chassis skid

Does T-Bone provide 8 longer screws? There’s extra thickness now that screws are going thru bumpers and skid...so less screw into diff cases.

The screws they gave me for the front bumper fit perfect with this skid. The screws they gave me for the rear bumper will screw in also with this skid, but longer would be better (rears). I went with 4x15mm (4)

Ok. Yeah its think it’s best to have maximum length of the screw into the diff cases.

Just can't be to long and if so, trouble might happen

Mine could be a hair longer, but it's a perfect fit with a hair to spare

Is there a specific knot you use to keep the line from losing tension while you tie it?
