Exclamation Outerwears Company shroud soon

Outerwears Company, Inc is sending me a prototype that is being built for no charge and I will in return give them feedback on final fitment, performance, and overall rating of the product

Product is chassis protector/cover with velcro closure (shroud - i.e. Dusty Motors)

Questions?? Hobbywing EZRun 4mm connectors needed

I need a few of the 4mm bullet plugs that are on the end of the motor wires (Hobbywing EZRun Max8 Waterproof Brushless ESC/Motor Combo 2200kV). I want to make my motor wires shorter and I do not want to reuse the existing ones.

My ESC/Motor combo below:

I was thinking these?

Are you sure those are 4mm? They look closer to 5mm like the Castle plugs.

I contacted HW and they told me to use 4mm and I contacted Amain and they told me those ProTek's are 4mm

Well if they are actually 4mm then the bullets you have should work. I would measure the current ones just to be sure. I mean looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like 4mm at all. Unless those pics on Amain are not accurate.

What is odd it that I just measured the connector diameter of the ones on the end of the motor and they are 6.3mm

Where will I find 6.3mm connectors??

That makes more sense. In that case, these castle connectors are gonna work out for you. It's basically exactly what HW uses from the looks of it.

Of definitely, there are big holes on top of each bullet for 10ga wire. Those little holes on the side I believe are for the solder iron tip so it doesn't get in the way of the wire when pushing it in from the top.

I have the Hobbywing EZRun Max8 Waterproof Brushless ESC/Motor Combo (2200kV) and I would like to know if I could solder the motor wires directly to the Max8 ESC and bypass the bullet connectors?

I wouldn't try it personally. You'd need a ton of solder to fill that thing. The bullets would be ideal.

Looks pretty damn fancy lol. I've yet to go to those lengths for my own wiring. As long as I make a good solder joint i'm happy haha
