Called Outerwears, they have nothing for any Tekno. As for Dusty Motors, not one place in the US has size (M) that I would need. Tekno told me the EB48 body is a perfect fit too. Would that cause a heat buildup being under my original body?

I've used outerwears on several RC's in the past.... They restrict airflow and make everything hotter too. I think the best bet IS to use the buggy body as a cover...you can always drill a bunch of small holes in it for extra ventilation if needed.

What's a good tire other then the bad lands and mashers that doesn't balloon too much and doesn't need extenders

Sweep Terrain Crushers won't ballon , they're belted. They should be fine without extenders too. But I have no experience with them. I'm thinking of ordering a set
Belted Monster Truck tire Terrain Crusher by Sweep Racing for TRAXXAS E-REVO

Vettehigh. That Tonka body came out really nice. I like it!

Shockwaves too. Tekno recommends Shockwaves and Badlands

Wink Tray protector

I bought the EB48.4 body and spent close to 2 hours getting it an exact fit with a dremel tool. This is my body tray protector and my Tonka body will be above

I'm also using the best fastener I've ever found in the Scotch Extreme
Scotch® Extreme Fasteners, 1 in x 3 in, Clear

Will do...I cut out several holes for fitment and ventilation, would you say I need more or what I have open is good enough for ventilation?

It all depends on how hard you drive and outdoor temperature.
You won't really know unless you check temps. My guess is you'll be fine running 4s and Shockwave tires.

Those would actually be the best fitting electronics for this chassis tbh lol. You'll be happy with that combo for bashing.
