RCJuice delivered. Super fast shipping, great packaging and my cells were almost perfectly matched. On the charger now, I'll report after first run. Impressed so far.

Legit! 40 minutes of pure bliss. These batteries deliver. Way more punch than my Lectron pros. I ran hard and fast in 95 degree heat, speed runs, to try to push the battery. 40 minutes till I hit lvc. Esc was hot, motor was pretty damn hot, batteries were warm. Good deal here. Note internal resistance, pretty damn good. Thanks rcjuice. Your my new battery company. Back to the Kraton.

I ordered the team Durango internal diff shimms today, the ones tp parts extreme uses in his video. Out of stock now, but I picked up some pfte coated shimms and going to mess with those and see if they fit.

Hey guys anyone have a good steering servo recommendation? I'm still running stock esc (the new version blx 185). Also I switched over to dean plugs not knowing the the xt90s are just as good or better 😒. Now I'm trying to run a 5s battery but i have 2 dean plugs. Do I need a cap for one of them? Or can I just plug on my 5s and go.?? Thx

Deans are fine if they are genuine deans. Yes you need a cap to complete the circuit. What 5s pack did you get? Curious how you like it.

Nice to see a JST-XH on the balance plug, I need an adapter for mine. Not a bad price either. Maybe 5s will become more popular, I know it's absolutely the sweet spot on the Arrmas in my part of the country.

So I just ordered myself a kraton !

So what batteries should I buy ? I suppose I want 6S , and maybe a 4S for company... How big of a pack do I want ?

I was looking to upgrade the Speed control and ESC right off the bat to a 150 Amp unit from Hobby Wing

Also Iw ill be changing out the servo right off the bat .....

I wouldn't remove a 150A Hobbywing ESC/motor to install a 150A Hobbywing ESC/motor.

Servo needs to go for sure.

5s works well for me. 4s isn't enough and 6s breaks stuff. 5000mAh ish no matter what.

so its already a 150 A Hobbywing in it ?

So what would be a upgrade ( not that it sounds like it needs it )

what size system is in the Nero ?

I guess any of the big name sensored truggy systems would be an upgrade, but it isn't needed.

Same system in the Nero, Kraton, and all the other 1/8 Arrmas that have been updated. The older red ESC and motor are a little goofy, the new black ones are "hobbywing"

Can the punch of the system be controlled by the radio or Speed control ? Say I wanted to run 6S but wanted to slightly tone it down to make it less violent ? I do use a M11X radio which may help some...can you adjust end point like you can a nitro throttle ?

Punch and power are different on these. Punch is like traction control off the line, that is adjustable. Don't think total power can be turned down on that ESC, maybe with the programming card? Or using EPA on the transmitter? Not something I've ever tried.

Yes, you can turn down the throttle EPA.

I wouldn't change anything--get your money's worth, dewd. I've been running bone stock, 4s, and everything is cool as a cucumber. Run that little Toys R Us servo to the ground. Update after that.
