Yeah the plastic bulkhead/diff case is stripped, that's what I meant

You're best off buying a new one so you can re-thread it and give the screws something to bite into. Glues or anything won't hold for very long at all

Naa.. I don't want to do that yet. I used to race truggies a bit, had Savages, LST2s, have two MT4 G3s, and lots of other cars. Never had a diff case strip like this. And on a NEW car?...

I'll try a bigger screw or glue before buying a diff case and doing all the wrenching... Trying to avoid getting reminded so quickly of why I got out of cars way back when - money pits. €15 for a bit of plastic on a car I haven't even run 8 packs through yet, plus an hour of wrenching... The car seems good, but that is ridiculous...

I suspect this big dumb bumper played a role...

Yeah maybe 3.5mm screws, or even 4mm.

It's stripped from the factory, they have the torque set too high on their tools

Aha.. Thanks.

Check this out:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/1-8-RC-Metal...QAAOSwH4Re~~Xs

I can get that for €25 shipped, I think including the plastic housing. Mayb for €23. I assume it will fit the V4?

Thanks..

OK, putting together an order.
Going to get a couple of gearboxes, plus some oils and a pinion. What's adviseable - 200k, 300k, or 500k in the center? I was going to order two of the three..

I don't plan on messing with the front and rear just yet, but eventually I would probably go 20k front, 10k rear. I have 10k, so would put 20k in the cart.

I also have a 17t pinion in the cart. Can the Kraton handle +1 on the pinion, all stock on 6S, or is that pushing it? For blasting around on grass, gravel parking lots, streets etc mostly...

Anyway, since I'm already paying shipping I want to order a few oils, a spare pinion, some mud guards etc... Thanks..
