Truggys are awesome for bashing though. Especially truggys with big tires. There still isn't very many RTR brushless truggys on the market. I wonder what the price will be. It says the truck is 6s capable and waterproof which is pretty cool.

$499.00 towers price. ETA: mid July. Kraton looks pretty tough. Its about time there's 1/8 truggy rtr.

who's gonna be first to get one? 180 amp ESC, 6s capable, waterproof electronics, what else do you need? I just got my latest Tower catalog in the mail today and saw it on the cover. I had forgotten about it. It looks like it's finally available. I'd get one but I'm sure the wife would dissapprove since I've spent quite alot of money on other RC stuff lately. As far as the truck goes, I wonder if it will really handle 6s without the diffs self destructing. My MT4 can handle 6s, but not really. Full throttle backflips always result in gear grinding noises coming from the diffs. Eventually they strip and it's time for another rebuild. I've rebuilt the diffs on my MT4 alot. No matter how carefully I shim the spider gears, they just don't seem to be able to handle the raw power of 6s. The rest of the driveline seems to handle it just fine. Backflips in the air off of jumps and standing backflips are part of the fun with having all that power. I'm hoping maybe a truck like the Kraton can handle the power without breaking the driveline.

The kraton certainly looks promising based on specs. I used to own a mt4 and surprisingly as long as the diffs were shimmed properly I usually didn't have too many problems with any of the gears stripping unless the landings were at an odd angle. Surprisingly my Savage XL diffs have survived all jumps without any stripped gears. But anyway I'm still excited about this vehicle.

Any more info about these looks like a nice truggy

arrma typhon
I just got the arrma typhon. I was impressed with the design and quality. But when I put a 6s lipo in it it barely made it to the end of my street before the esc lit on fire and melted the body and a few other things aswell. This could have been a fluke though.

I already replaced the esc with an orion r8 and the buggy works great now. Just a bit blackened on the inside. I wish I had gotten video or pics of the fire. I've had rc's catch fire before but this one was almost an explosion. My buddies sure thought it was hilarious though.I'm gonna bash this thing today and see if it's durable atleast.

Look what the little brown truck just brought me. This thing is badass from my first impressions. seems to be well built. Unfortunately my batteries won't be here until tomorrow. Also a Futaba receiver will not fit in the receiver box. I can't wait to punish this beast.

This is the first Arrma that truly has me excited.
Does anybody have pictures of it next to other large vehicles (1/8th scale, 1/5th scale, or monster trucks)?
I'd also like to see this thing next to a Yeti XL. That thing looks stupid big.
