Hey Graham, My name is Brent. I live near Madison, Wisconsin and I'm looking to get back into r/c after 20 years. My health took me away but I eagerly forsee the day coming where I can get back into the hobby. I want an Arrma Kraton (I've read the entire Kraton thread) and I'll need all the support that it requires as well. Tools, Lipos, charger etc. but I don't have a LHS and I'm not confident enough in my choices to buy online i.e.Tower Hobbies. This purchase will be a milestone in my life so what I want is personalized service, and your LHS looks like just the place. Since you've spoken so highly of Hobby Haven, I'd like to ask you if I may drop your name when I finally call to place my order. It may be months down the road yet, but I've been anticipating the day I'm in the position to make this purchase for a very long time. Thank you so much, Brent p.s. Bash On!

You bet. Hobby Haven, in Urbandale Iowa. Diamond in the rough, been in business for over 30 years, family owned. Horizon has been trying to buy them out, but they won't go corporate, they have a good thing going. Rick Marble is the owner, and Dave and Sean are his two grown boys that run the car department. Dave is amazing with knowledge, he knows his shit. Trained as an engineer and has a good mind for RC as he grew up in a full blown fully stocked hobby shop, they all race 1/10 to 1/5 scale and have everything on the planet RC. If you call them, tell them Graham Jepsen told you to call, they know me, you will get great service. Www.hobbyhaven.com

can i get the name of the hobby shop you use. it sounds like they have a great business and i will start using them. i never would have considered calling anyone with any of the initial problems with my cars. my erevo started on fire the first time i used it and my LHS said too bad. as did traxxas. castle covered the ESC. it would be nice to have someone to call every now and then. thank you
