To anyone interested The Dude has re-Released his a arm mounts for the MGT, EMTA, and RIVAL platforms! I have a set of prototypes from back in the day and just ordered another set! I highly recommend them for anyone no matter how you drive your rig! Way better than the stock mounts that can bend very easily just after a few small hits, binding your suspension!

Use the link that he posted on page 5 to order!
http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho...=200068&page=5

Consider these like RPM arms, You really only have to buy them once!

RPM knuckles are installed, geometry is dead on. Didn't even have to adjust tie rods.
I sure do like having the 6x15mm bearings.
The Rival/MGT axles are too short.
You have to grind the back of wheel hex to make It work.
Does anyone know if maxx aftermarket axles will mate to our CVD's?

18t pinion is too much for the stock electrics on 4s. Gets to warm when doing wheelies.

Has anyone upgraded there motor to the castle 2200kv? If you have is it any better, more power cooler running etc etc? I ask because I got a new one from the fs section cheap to get me going for my truggy conversion but it runs hot geared for 35mph.

I am running a Castle 1515, a 150amp esc, and an 18 tooth pinion in mine. I only run on 4s and the truck is a total monster now. I replaced all three items at the same time. I had to add a wheelie bar to keep the truck from flipping over on hard acceleration.

I just put an older 2200kv Flux system in mine. I will post updates as I run it. Its on 18T. I've had Castle 2200 combos in most of my larger RCs and was never unhappy with them. I've heard of problems but never had any myself. I only run 4S.

Thanks for the input. Just ordered one. I already have a mamba monster esc. I just wasn't happy with the reedy 1515 it ran to hot for how I was geared. Plus it was slower then my slash with a castle 1415.

I run the MMM2 and 2200 in mine also and its night day compared to the stock system also, this way you have the option of going crazy and running 6S.

I have a big problem and don't know what to do. I picked up a hitec servo hs 7954sh. I was just about to install it. I plugged the power in to set it and the truck kept moving on its own. I shut it down and plugged the xp back in, and it stopped. I waited a few minutes and tried again. Something the wheels start to sputter. Any ideas of what's going on. And I am using mm2 motor and esc
